Let Die Ride

Roll. Lock. Score. Survive.

Let Die Ride! is a roguelike where your deck is a pool of dice. Each round, roll your dice and try to form scoring hands — like Yahtzee meets poker. Beat the target score or it's game over. The target grows exponentially, so you'll need more than luck to keep up.

Between rounds, visit the shop to upgrade your hands, buy special dice with unique abilities, and collect items that twist the rules in your favor. Every run is seeded — share a seed with a friend and see who survives longer.

How It Works

1. Roll — Your dice are rolled at the start of each round.
2. Lock — Click dice you want to keep.
3. Reroll — Spend rerolls to try for a better hand (3 per round).
4. Score — The game finds the best hand from your dice and scores it.

If your score beats the target, you earn currency and head to the shop. If not — game over.

17 Scoring Hands

From a humble High Roll (single die) to the legendary Pyramid (requires 9+ dice), there are 17 hands to discover. Each can be upgraded up to level 5 in the shop for higher base scores and multipliers.

8 Unique Dice

Your starting pool is 5 Normal Dice — but the shop offers specialty dice with game-changing abilities:

• Weighted Die — Biased toward 4, 5, and 6. Over 52% chance of rolling high.
• Glass Die — +10 bonus to score, but 20% chance to shatter each round.
• Wild Die — You choose its value. Need a 6 to complete Five of a Kind? Done.
• Mirror Die — Flips its value after rolling (1↔6, 2↔5, 3↔4).
• Echo Die — Copies another die's value. Guaranteed at least a Pair.
• Odd Die / Even Die — Bonus points when landing on matching parity.

Expand your pool up to 10 dice to unlock powerful hands like Full Run and Pyramid.

Items That Change the Game

• Even Steven / Odd Todd — Multiplier bonus for each matching die.
• Lucky Penny — +3 currency per round. Pays for itself fast.
• Insurance — Protects your Glass Dice from shattering.
• Loaded Dice — Subtly biases all your Normal dice toward higher values.
• High Roller — Flat +15 to every score.
• Extra Reroll — One more chance to find the perfect hand.

Boss Rounds Every 4th Round

Just when you've got a rhythm going, a boss shows up to break it. Every 4th round features a boss that bends the rules:

• The Lockdown — Locks one of your dice to a random value for the entire round.
• The Inverter — Flips all your dice values after every roll.
• The Collector — Steals a random die after the round and replaces it with a Normal.
• The Miser — Cuts your rerolls by 2.
• The Silencer — Disables all dice abilities.

• Play the Tutorial first — it walks you through a full round and shop visit.
• Save your rerolls when you can — each unused reroll earns you +1 currency.
• Keep $25 in the bank for maximum interest ($5/round).
• Your first shop purchase each round is free — use it on the most expensive thing.
• Upgrade hands you hit often (Pair and Three of a Kind are reliable early on).
• Expanding to 6+ dice unlocks powerful hands like Full Run and Two Triplets.
